Age : 18-25 Yrs
Scale Of Pay : Rs. 5,200–20,200/-
Qualification:
a) 10th Class pass from recognized Board.
b) 8th class pass from a recognized Institution for S.T. Category candidates belonging to Mizoram State.
Company Profile :
ITBP was conceived on 24 Oct, 1962. Presently ITBP is deployed on Border Guarding Duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Diphu La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 KM of India-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000’ to 18500’ in the Western, Middle & Eastern Sector of the India-China Border.
ITBP is basically a mountain trained Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained Mountaineers and Skiers. Being the first responder for natural Disaster in the Himalayas, ITBP has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.
Desired Profile :
Application Fee- The candidates belonging to General and OBC category will be required to pay Rs 50/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/IPO/Bank Draft in favour of “ Inspector General (North West) Frontier, ITBP, PO-Seema Nagar, Chandigarh(UT) PAYABLE AT SBI, AFS Chandigarh. Code No- 1495. No fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates. The candidates opting for CRFS should affix the CRFS at specified space in application form and get them cancelled as well.
How to Apply- Eligible and interested candidates should send their Application & Admit Card duly filled in Hindi or English. The application shall be type written or neatly hand written on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application/Admit Card duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with application fee (only for General and OBC candidates).Application should be sent at The Inspector General (North West) Frontier, ITB. Police. PO-Seema Nagar (Near Airport) Chandigarh (UT)- 160003.The application with enclosures as mentioned at must reach at the address as mentioned on or before 30.04.2011.
