1.Name of the Posts: Junior Assistant

Qualification: Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.
2.Name of the Posts: Typist
No of Vacancies: 106
Qualification: Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:- (i) by Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher/Senior Grade in English and Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil.
3.Name of the Posts: Steno Typist, Grade -III
No of Vacancies: 17
Qualification: Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand: (i) by Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) (ii) by Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (or) (iii)by Higher/Senior Grade in English and Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil.
Salary: Rs.5200-20200/- PM

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has had a glorious past of 75 years.During1923, the Lee Commission had recommended setting up of a Central Public Service Commission in India, but it did not give much thought to the need of establishing similar commissions in provinces It was left largely to the discretion of provincial Governments to recruit and exercise control over their Services, as they thought proper. As a result of the discretionary powers left to provincial Government, the Government of Madras and Punjab proposed to set up their Public Service Commissions.

How to Apply : Candidates applying Online should send the applications (i.e. The printout generated from the web site and signed by the candidates) with the Postal Receipt along with attested copies of certificates so as to reach the Commission’s office on or before the last date for receipt of applications, failing which his/her application will be rejected.
