Designation : Assistant Manager, Research Officer
Job Description :
Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for appointments to the following posts:-
1. Assistant Manager (Security) Gr. ‘A’
* No. of post: 10 posts
* Pay Scale : Rs.17000-33200/-
* Age Limit: 25-45 years
2. Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) Gr. ‘A’
* No. of post: 12 posts
* Pay Scale : Rs.17000-33200/-
* Age Limit: 30 years
3. Research Officer in Grade ‘B’ for Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM)
* No. of post: 10 posts
* Age Limit: 21-30 years
* Pay Scale : Rs.21000-36400/-
Qualification: (i) A Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/Applied Statistics & Informatics from NT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade OR
(ii) Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an institute of repute OR
(iii) M.Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
Company Profile :
The Reserve Bank of India was established on April 1, 1935 in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
The Central Office of the Reserve Bank was initially established in Calcutta but was permanently moved to Mumbai in 1937. The Central Office is where the Governor sits and where policies are formulated.
Though originally privately owned, since nationalisation in 1949, the Reserve Bank is fully owned by the Government of India.
Desired Profile :
Application Fee : Rs.100/- (No fee is payable by SC/ST/PWD candidates) payable by Demand Draft favouring Reserve Bank of India and payable at Mumbai only. However, candidates from un-banked areas may pay fee by crossed Indian Postal Orders in favour of Reserve Bank of India payable at GPO, Mumbai. Candidates should write their Name and Address on the reverse of the Demand Draft and in the space provided for the purpose on the Postal Orders (if fee is payable).
How to Apply : Candidates can apply Online or Offline both way. Online applications can be submitted upto 16/05/2011.
