Post Name : Senior Resident
Qualifications : MBBS with P.G Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a Recognised University /Institution and should be Registered with Delhi Medical council.
Experience : 5+ years of working experience as a Hardware Design Engineer for development of networking products for IP infrastructure Design Experience with 32 /64 bit embedded / communication processors, high speed signal back plane designs, high layercount PCBs, multicore processors, network processors and high speed switch fabric based boards is preferred Hands-on FPGA design experience (Verilog or VHDL) simulation and testing for complex functions.

The Foundation stone of Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital was laid in October 1961 and was commissioned by the then Prime Minister late Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru on 30th April 1964. From a very humble beginning with 229 beds, indoor admissions of 590 patients and out door department (OPD) attendance of 8522 in 1964-65, the hospital has gradually expanded over the years. Today it is a nationally recognized tertiary care institution for Heart, Brain and Gastrointestinal disorders. It offers specialized medical and surgical treatment to about 3 lac patients in the OPD and almost 15,000 patients in General and Private wards every year.
It is one of the reputed centers for post-doctoral teaching and training and is recognized for many path breaking researches. The Institution is recognized by Medical Council of India and University Grants Commission as an independent post graduate College affiliated to Delhi University.
The institution offers post-doctoral D.M. degrees in Cardiology, Neurology and Gastroenterology and M.Ch. degrees in Cardio thoracic Surgery, Neuro Surgery and Gastrointestinal Surgery. Students are also admitted in M.D. courses in the fields of Microbiology, Pathology, Psychiatry and Radio-Diagnosis - in association with Maulana Azad Medical College - a sister institution. In addition, many departments are recognized for Ph. D. courses and active research work is going on under their supervision.
