Job Description :
Applications are invited for one post of Research Associate (RA)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
(1) For JRF- M.Sc. (Mathematics) with 60% or equivalent degree and qualified JRFNET conducted jointly by CSIR and UGC at National Level.
(2) For SRF- M.Sc. (Mathematics) with 60% or equivalent degree and at least two year of Post-M.Sc. research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journal/conference or possessing two years training in methods of research and aptitude for research assessed from published project work.
(3) For RA- submitted or awarded Ph.D in Mathematics or equivalent degree.
Salary
(1) For JRF- Rs. 16000/ for I&II year. Rs. 18000/ for III year.
(2) For SRF-Rs. 18000/ for three years.
(3) For RA- Rs. 22000/ for three years.
Age Limit:-The upper age limit for research fellow shall be 28 for JRF, 32 years for SRF and 35 years for RA as on the day which the application is made. Interested candidates having the above qualifications must send their applications on plane paper with full Bio-data indicating the % age of marks obtained from Matriculation onwards. The appointment will be made for one year in the first instance, which may be extended for next two years (depend upon progress of R & D work).
