Job Description:
Central University of Jharkhand, inviting application for the post of Guest Faculty.
Qualifications : a) Teaching faculty for Human Rights and Conflict Management, Tribal and Customary Law having: 1. Good academic records with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. 2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. 3. Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of these regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for award of M.Phil/Ph.D . degree). Regulations, 2009 and so adopted by the University, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 4. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted subject to the conditions stipulated in the Regulations of U.G.C.
c) Teaching faculty for Chinese Language and Culture, Korean Language and Culture, Tibetan Language and Culture having : 1. Good Academic record with at least 55% marks in the Master’s degree in relevant Languages/English/Linguistics 2. NET in relevant languages/Linguistics/English/Ph.D degree as per UGC Regulations amended from time to time 3. For candidates not holding PG degree in relevant Language/Studies a. A two/three year Diploma in relevant Languages Or b. A certificate of proficiency in relevant Languages (appropriate level) awarded by the concerned Embassy/concerned foundation of India.
d) Teaching faculty for Geo Informatics, having: 1. Good academic records with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. 2. If Ph.D. in Geo Informatics is not available then preference will be given to candidate having at least two years of experience in the Geo Informatics projects/teaching/research. 3. Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of these regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree).
