Job Description:
Qualifications: A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

1. ESI Hospital, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu - 34 Posts
2. ESI Hospital, Joka, West Bengal - 10 Posts
Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100/- and Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit as on 21/07/2011: 30 years
Amount of Application Fee:
01. SC/ST/PH/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen:- NIL
02 . All other categories:- 225/-
Mode of payment: - A Demand Draft of Rs.225/-(as applicable) in favour of “E.S.I. Fund Account No. I” drawn on any scheduled bank payable at New Delhi has to be submitted along with the System Generated hard copy of application.

Besides full medical care for self and dependants, that is admissible from day one of insurable employment, the insured persons are also entitled to a variety of cash benefits in times of physical distress due to sickness, temporary or permanent disablement etc. resulting in loss of earning capacity, the confinement in respect of insured women, dependants of insured persons who die in industrial accidents or because of employment injury or occupational hazard are entitled to a monthly pension called the dependants benefit.
