Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of following Computer Cadre posts of Allahabad High Court.
1. System Analyst
* No Of Post: 01 post
* Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6600
* Qualification: Working knowledge of Unix/ Open Source Software/ Windows NT/ Oracle and other RDMS packages/Systems Analysis and
Programming with the following educational qualifications.
• M.E. or equivalent degree (Computer Science or related subject) from a recognised University/ Institution; or • ‘C’ level Course from DOE; or • B.E. or its equivalent in Computer Science or related subject from recognised institution/university with five year experience; or • M.C.A./ M.Sc. (Computer science or related subject) with three year experience.
2. Computer Operator Grade-B
* No Of Post: 06 posts
* Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2800
* Qualification: At least second class bachelor degree from a recognized University in Computer Science or related subject; or Second class bachelor degree from a recognized University with PGDCA; or Second class bachelor degree from a recognized University with ‘A’ level course from DOE.
Age Limit: 21-35 years

The Indian High Courts Act passed by British Parliament in 1861, provision was made, not only for the replacement of the Supreme Courts of Calcutta, Madras and Bombay and for the establishment of High Courts in their places, but for the establishment of a High Court by Letters Patent in any other part of Her Majesty’s territories not already included in the jurisdiction of another High Court. In the year 1866, the High Court of Judicature for the North-Western Provinces came into existence at Agra under Letters Patent of the 17th March, 1866, replacing the old Sudder Diwanny Adawlat.
Sir Walter Morgan, Barrister-at-Law and Mr. Simpson were appointed the first Chief Justice and the first Registrar respectively of High Court of North-Western Provinces.
The seat of the High Court for the North-Western Provinces was shifted from Agra to Allahabad in 1869 and its designation was altered to ‘the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad’ by a supplementary Letters patent issued on March 11, 1919.
Desired Profile :
Application Fee : Rs. 500/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST of UP) should be paid through crossed Bank Draft/Banker’s cheque payable in favour of the Registrar General, High Court, Allahabad.
How to Apply : Application on plain and thick foolscap paper, duly typed in English in prescribed proforma and complete in all respect along with prescribed fee addressed to the Officer on Special Duty (Computers), must reach Computer Centre, High Court, Allahabad, either by registered post or delivered in person 20/06/2011.
