Job Description:
The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) invites applications for the following post:-

Post Name: Regional Inspector
No. of Post: 01 posts
Si No. 2
Post Name: Assistant Regional Inspector
No. of Post: 15 posts
Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering and should be registered with any employment exchange in Uttarakhand.
Application Fee : Rs.180/- (Rs.90/- for SC/ST of Uttarakhand/ PH candidates) in the form of Bank DD/ Indian Postal Order in favour of “Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Haridwar” payable at Haridwar. Candidates should write their name, address at the back of the DD/IPO.
Age Limit : 21-35 years.

The State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09th November, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was Constituted under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Governor of Uttarakhand vide Notification No. 247/1-Karmik-2001 dated 14th March, 2001. At present the strength of the Commission is the Chairman & the four Members.
The working of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is regulated by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Procedure and Conduct of Business Rule-2007{Framed by the Lok sewa Ayog Uttarakhand under section 11 of U.P. State Lok sewa Ayog(Prakriya ka viniyaman) Adhiniyam, 1985 Uttarakhand Anukulan awam Upantaran Adesh, 2002.}

How to Apply : Application forms in the prescribed OMR format completed in all respects must reach the Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar-249404 at the commission office either by registered post/ speed post or personally (by hand) up to 06-00 P.M. on or before 11/07/2011.
