Application are invited for selection for the post of Principal of Air Force School Gorakhpur on contract basis.
1. Principal
* Pay Scale: Rs. 22000-660-28600-EB-860-37200/-
* Qualification: Master’s Degree or Honours Degree of a foreign University Recognized as Equivalent to the Master’s Degree of an Indian University by the UPSC or Honours Degree of such Indian University as may be recognized equivalent to the Master’s Degree by the UPSC
* Age Limit: Must be below the age of 59 years

The Air Force School, Gorakhpur is a recognized School upto Xiith Class and affiliated with central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) , New Delhi. It functions under the aegis of the IAF educational and cultural society registered under societies registration act. 1860.
The school was established in 1964 with a limited number of children in Old Project (OP) area of the Air Force Station. In the course of time it grew from strength and in 1984 the school shifted to its permanent accommodation in new project (NP) area. Its Kindergarten (KG) wing, however, continues to be located in the old project. there are at present about 1377 students in the school, including those in the KG wing.
Our School
Air Force School Gorakhpur is located about 7km from Gorakhpur city. The school is one of the forerunners amongst the elite educational institution in the city. This has been possible due to candid efforts, clairvoyant vision and keen interest of the school management committee and the school staff. Today our school boasts of being a pioneer in the sphere of modern education with over 1350 students and 53 well qualified teachers.
We not only have well equipped science laboratories and sophisticated computer labs to develop the academic veracity of the students, but also provide the best possible sport and recreation facilities and encourage extra-curricular activities with the aim of developing all round talents amongst the students. In our word our school is a ‘modern school’ with its sole goal to make each individual students of today, a perfect student of tomorrow.
