1.Assistant Audit Officer in A.P. Local Fund Audit Service (Under roup-I Services)
* Pay Scale : Rs 16,150- 42,590/-
* Qualification : A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognized by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification
2.Assistant Director of Mines in A.P. Mining Service
* Pay Scale : Rs 19,050- 45,850/-
* Qualification : Must possess a Degree in Mining Engineering from any University of India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission; or a Diploma in Mining Engineering from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad or an equivalent Diploma from any other recognized Institute
3.English Reporters in A.P. Legislative Service
* Pay Scale : Rs 18,030- 43,630/-
* Qualification : i) Must have passed P.U.C. or Intermediate provided that, preference shall be given to persons possessing Higher General Education qualifications. ii) Must have passed the Short-hand (English) by the grade for which the rate of speed prescribed is not less than 180 words per minute; provided that, preference shall be given to persons who have also passed Shorthand (Telugu) by Higher grade. iii) Must have passed the typewriting (English) by Higher grade provided that, preference shall be given to persons who have also passed type writing (Telugu) by Higher grade
4.Assistant Public Relations Officer in I & PR Sub-Ser
* Pay Scale : Rs 11,860- 34,050/-
* Qualification : Must posses a Bachelors Degree in any subject with a degree or a diploma in Journalism/ public relation from any university in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, or Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognised by the UGC or an equivalent qualification
5.Junior Marketing Assistant in A.P. Marketing Sub-Service
* Pay Scale : Rs 10,900- 31,550/-
* Qualification : Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science or Economics or Maths or Statistics or Commerce of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or Provincial Act or any institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any equivalent qualification
6.Junior Assistants in A.P. Board of Intermediate Education Subordinate Service
* Pay Scale : Rs 8,440- 24,950/-
* Qualification : Must hold a Degree of any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, or Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any equivalent qualification with Computers as one of the optional subjects.

The A.P. Public Service Commission came into existence on 1 st November, 1956 with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh . Before this, there was Andhra Public Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State . Andhra Service Commission came into existence only in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States .
On the eve of formation of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Andhra Public Service Commission was functioning with a Chairman and two Members and Hyderabad Public Service Commission was functioning with one Member. Hence, A.P. Public Service Commission was constituted with a Chairman and 3 Members. With increasing work load, Government enhanced the strength of the Commission to Chairman and 5 Members in the year 1981 and later to Chairman and 7 Members in the year 1983. Government again reviewed the strength in 1994 and enhanced it to Chairman and 9 Members. This is the present strength also.
In the year 1963 Government of Andhra Pradesh brought out regulations called "Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulations" vide G.O.Ms.o.489, G.A.D, Dated:23/04/1963. These regulations were based on the Madras Public Service Commissions Regulations 1950, adhoc regulations issued for the year 1954,1956 & 1957 by the Andhra Government and the Hyderabad Public Service Commission Regulations 1952.
