Job Description:
Applications are invited on plain paper for one position of Research Fellow (RF) to carry out research investigations in sponsored research project titled “Simulation and development of Flapping Mechanism”, funded by Grant-In-Aid Scheme Of Aeronautics R&D Board, DRDO, Government Of India, under the supervision of Pruthviraj U, Principal Investigator, NITK Surathkal
The appointment will be for an initial period of one year.
Educational Qualifications: First Class or equivalent in one of the following: B.Tech/B.E from one of the following departments: Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace engineering
Final year project work of the applicant must be related to aerial vehicles.
Salary Rs. 15,000/- per month

The National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007 was enacted by the Parliament of India to declare India's National Institutes of Technology as Institutes of National Importance. The Act received the assent of the President of India on 5 June 2007 and became effective on Independence Day ,2007.
The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal is one of such an NIT and is rated as one of the top technological universities in India.
