1. Assistant Engineer (Trainee) : 29 Posts (Gen-15, SC-07, ST-01, OBC-06)
* Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400
* Age : 18-35 years as on 01.07.2011 (relaxable as per rules)
* Qualification : Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Electrical , Electronics, Electrical & Electronics , Electronics & Communication with 60% marks or AMIE (Section A&B exam) with equivalent grade (For SC/ST ony pass marks)

PTCUL was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 on 27th May 2004 with the basic objective of acquire establish construct and operate extra high voltage, high voltage medium voltage and low voltage lines and associated sub-stations equipment apparatus, cable and wires and co-ordination of Transmission facilities for the state of Uttarakhand. At present 100% shares of the company is held by the Government of Uttarakhand either directly or through its nominees. Authorized Capital of the Company at the time of incorporation was Rs. 10,00,00000/-(Ten Crores) divided into one lacs Equity shares of Rs. 1000/- each. At present the authorized capital of the company is Rs. 1,00,00,00000/-(Hundred Crores).PTCUL endeavors to be among the best of Power Transmission utilities in India in operating efficiency, system reliability standards and commercially viable operations.
The Corporate office of the Company is situated at 7B Vasant Vihar Enclave, Street No. 1 Dehradun. The Company is managed by the Board of Director. The Board of Directors meets frequently at least once in every quarter. The day to day management of the Company is looked after by the Managing Director and other officers of the Company.
