1. General Manager (HR)

* Pay Scale: Rs. 51300-73000
* Age Limit: 52 Years as on 01.06.2011
* Qualification: MBA (HR) / Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in PM & IR 2 years full time duration from recognized, reputed University /Institution with not less than 60% marks. Desirable- Law Degree (3 yrs. duration)
2. Company Secretary in the Grade of General Manager/ Additional General Manager
* No. of Post: 01 Post
* Pay Scale: Rs. 51300-73000
* Age Limit: 52 for GM, 50 for AGM as on 01.06.2011
* Qualification: Graduate with Associate/Fellow Membership of the institute of Company Secretaries of India. Bachelor of Law / Chartered Accountant /cost Accountant experience for General Manager will have additional advantage.
3. Director (CIRE) equivalent to General Manager
* No. of Post: 01 Post
* Pay Scale: Rs. 51300-73000
* Age Limit: 52 Years as on 01.06.2011
* Qualification: First Class Post Graduate in Engineering/Electrical /Mechanical / MBA . Post graduate diploma in management from a recognized University / Institute will have additional advantage.
4. Faculty [CIRE] equivalent to Manager

* Pay Scale: Rs. 36600-62000
* Age Limit : 40 Years as on 01.06.2011
* Qualification: BE/B. Tech. with Electrical/ Mechanical OR equivalent from a recognized Institute/University approved by AICTE with 1st Division. Desirable MBA/proficiency in IT applications.

REC, a Public Sector Enterprise, was incorporated on July 25, 1969 under the Companies Act 1956. REC is a listed Goverment of India Public Sector Enterprise with a networth of Rs. 11,080 crore. Its main objective is to finance and promote rural electrification project all over the country.
The Corporate Office is located at New Delhi and seventeen fully staffed Project Offices are located in different states of the country, apart from one Training Institute viz. Central Institute for Rural Electrification at Hyderabad.
