Job Description:
Name of the Post: Trainee Marine Engineer
Age limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2012. Age relaxation for SC-ST-Woman Candidates.
Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture from AICTE Approved Engineering College. Equivalent degree or degree with specialization or electives is not acceptable. The Final year/Semester candidates those who appeared the exam and expecting their results by 31-07-2011 they may also apply. The candidates must have 50% Marks in engineering and also have 50% marks in English language at Xth or XIIth.
Selection Process: The selection is depends upon the written test, interview

The Shipping Corporation of India was established on October 2nd, 1961, by the amalgamation of Eastern Shipping Corporation and Western Shipping Corporation.
Starting out as a marginal Liner shipping Company with just 19 vessels, the SCI has today evolved into the largest Indian shipping Company.
