Name of the posts:
Clerk-cum-Data entry Operators: 400 vacancies
Pay scale: Rs.5910 – 20200 (grade pay Rs.1900).
Age limit: The candidate’s age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 04/07/2011, reservation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Graduation any streams OR Post Graduation pass any stream, Diploma/Certificate in Computers from an institute having ISO Certification. Candidates should have passed Punjabi language examination of Matriculation standard.
Application fee: The candidates pay the fee for Rs 450/- for GEN/Other candidates and Rs 250/- for SC candidates plus bank charges, after successful registration will be allotted the Registration no. printed on the acknowledgement slip containing the detail of amount to be deposited by the candidate in the CDAC Mohali Application Fee Account, Current Account No. 911020028486199 with any branch of Axis Bank.
Selection process: The mode of selection is written test/interview basis.

The Punjab State Cooperative Bank was established on 31st August, 1949 at Shimla vide registration No. 720 has a principle financing institutionof the cooperative movement in Punjab. In 1951 its Head Office was shifted to Jalandhar from where it moved in 1963 to its present building at Chandigarh. In the cooperative Banking structure, the position of the Punjab State Cooperative Bank is extremely important as the whole credit system revolves around it. It has 18 branches and 3 extension counter in Chandigarh. There are 19 District Central Cooperative Banks having 813 branches all over Punjab, mostly in rural areas of the State. One new Central Cooperative Bank and 110 new bank branches have been opened during the last four years, 1997-2001.

4. The candidate has filled in wrong information they can correct the information up to 04/07/2011, till 5.00 PM, by entering their registration number and password.
5. After submission of online application candidates are required to take the print out of online application for future use and reference.
